With the Dear God series of still lives I am combining framed fragments of art historical religious images and objects that hold current significance or past religious baggage, to create provocative combinations. Themes of consumerism, individuality, devotion, and sexuality emerge as I play with a curiosity of religious subject matter and reflect on experiences within American Christianity.
